Culture Trip asked me to create an illustration banner to sit alongside the article The Coolest Sneaker Stores to Visit in Tokyo.
For this brief I was asked - one of the top performing fashion articles - I was told to approach this however I’d like! The most important thing was that it felt Japanese and stylist, so using a particular palette was vital.
I didn’t want to copy an existing pair of shoes, and as they’re something I really love, I decided to design my own for the purpose of this article.
