VICE’s New Neighbours Project started started with their European offices reaching out to local refugee charities, finding young refugees and asking them to pitch and write stories for them.
    The aim of the project was to move people’s perception of these kids away from their identity as refugees and to underline that they are normal people with worries and feelings and ambitions just like every one else.
    I was then asked to read through each “story” and illustrate them as they got released as weekly articles.
    New Neighbours won botb Gold and the People’s Lovie for Best Cause Marketing Campaign in 2017.
